Summer has come and gone!

The moment Tyson wrapped up 8th grade, summer was on – and we were off! First up: a road trip through Kentucky (new state unlocked), a quick detour into Indiana for a gravy-themed roller coaster, and then down to Tennessee to rendezvous with Trav’s family.

After a couple of weeks back home, we packed up again for our now-annual Chesapeake Bay trip to visit my brother. July was all about marching band – two full weeks of band camp plus practices stacked on top. We closed out the month with Tyson’s first official day of high school.

And though it’s technically still August, our house is already in full-on fall mode with pumpkin spice lattes and Friday night football. See you next year, summer!

  1. What wonderful memories! Thank you for sharing all these beautiful memories with us. Can’t believe my youngest grandchild is in high school already. The days are long, but the years are going by fast! Love ❤️ you three so very much!
