As we await the big winter storm to roll in tonight, we thought we’d update the blog.
The holidays were busy as usual with family, friends and festivities! A couple of new events we experienced this year were the Atlanta Christkindl Market (good German-style fun, but could’ve done without the smell of that raclette cheese!) and the Battle of the Bands (sponsored by Trav’s company, so we got to watch from a suite).
After Christmas, we took a road trip to New Orleans and Houston which brought us up to 25 states visited by the end of 2025! New Orleans highlights: Jazz at Preservation hall, beignets on Magazine Street, and a nighttime cemetery tour. Houston highlights: MeowWolf art exhibit, Houston Space center, and Ninfa’s restaurant (best meal of the trip).
